Yoga for Renewal & Reconnection

Yoga entered my life during a time when I needed it most — not as a fitness practice, but as a way to reconnect with my body and breath. Over the past seven years of practice, it has become a space for grounding, awareness, and coming back to myself.

Today, I share yoga primarily through private sessions, and occasionally through small group classes focused on Hatha yoga, breathwork, and meditation.

Many people come carrying stress, mental fatigue, or physical tension from the demands of everyday life. These practices create space to slow down, reconnect, and cultivate a greater sense of safety and awareness — because healing begins when we feel safe enough to notice what has been asking for our attention all along.

WHO THIS PRACTICE MAY SUPPORT

This style of yoga often resonates with people who feel drawn to a slower, more intentional approach to movement and wellbeing.

Many students come not because they are looking for an intense workout, but because they want to reconnect with their bodies after periods of stress, burnout, or a need to slow down and rest.

These practices are especially supportive for people who:

  • feel overwhelmed by fast-paced or highly athletic yoga classes

  • carry tension in the neck, shoulders, back, or body

  • experience stress, anxiety, or difficulty slowing down

  • spend long hours in demanding work or daily routines

  • feel disconnected from their body during challenging seasons of life

  • are returning to movement after time away

No advanced experience or flexibility is needed — only an openness to move, breathe, and explore the practice at your own pace.

What Makes My Approach Different

My teaching draws from traditional Hatha yoga, rooted in the Sivananda lineage and the timeless wisdom of the yogic traditions of India, while also integrating a modern understanding of breath, nervous system support, and body awareness. These are practices I continue to return to in my own life as well. Not because I have it all figured out, but because, like everyone else, I benefit from slowing down, reconnecting, and coming back to myself.

For many students, this creates a very different experience of yoga — one that feels supportive, grounding, and calming.

Many people discover that when the body is given the space to slow down, clarity and balance begin to return naturally.

Classes are suitable for beginners as well as experienced practitioners who are seeking a slower, more restorative approach to yoga.
